A document circulating online about apprehending unvaccinated people in Ontario appeared to be written by the Canadian minister of health Christine Elliott and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones but the document has been proven to be completely fake. Meanwhile secret quarantine facilities are still in operation all over Canada as the military is preparing to follow Australia’s lead when it comes to detaining and isolating anyone of their choosing all because of Covid-19(84). The Canadian military’s Joint Operations Command implemented a propaganda campaign in April 2020 with the intent to manipulate unsuspecting Canadians into falling in line with the federal government’s official positions on Covid-19. The brainwashing operation’s termination was ordered a month later, but in the meantime, it “relied on propaganda techniques similar to those employed during the Afghanistan war,” according to the Ottawa Citizen’s exclusive report on documents obtained under Access to Information.
The operation’s aim, according to the military, was to “head off civil disobedience by Canadians during the coronavirus pandemic and to bolster government messages about the pandemic.”
