Privacy commissioner investigating Trudeau’s ArriveCAN app

Canada’s privacy commissioner has launched an investigation into the controversial ArriveCAN app amid complaints that the app is collecting travellers’ personal information.

“Our office has received and is currently investigating a complaint that raises concerns with respect to the collection of personal information through ArriveCAN and subsequent use of that information,” said the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada in an email dated July 27.

While Global News asked the privacy commissioner for more information regarding its investigation, the privacy watchdog said “given the ongoing investigation and consultations, we do not have further details to provide at this time.”

Hearing for Ontario vaccine passports postponed

TORONTO: The Justice Centre regrets to announce that the Ontario Superior Court of Justice has postponed the constitutional challenge to the Ontario government’s now-cancelled vaccine passport mandates. The hearing has been rescheduled for November 21 and 22, 2022.

Lawyers for the Justice Centre filed evidence on behalf of nine applicants, as well as extensive expert reports, in preparation to argue the unconstitutionality of the vaccine passport, which significantly impacted the lives of the applicants and Ontarians generally.

Before the hearing to determine if vaccine passports were constitutional, the Court asked whether it could hear a “moot” case, as there was no longer a live issue to be determined, and vaccine passports had not been in force as of March 2022. Justice Centre lawyers argued that the vaccine passport represented unprecedented and significant infringements on constitutional rights and that the public interest strongly weighed in favour of hearing the application on its merits.

While the Court was not inclined to hear the case on its merits for technical reasons, the Court permitted the case to continue, if the legal action was amended to overcome the technicality caused by the cancellation of the vaccine passport.

“This was a sound exercise of the Court’s discretion today. The vaccine passport regulation has been cancelled by the Province of Ontario for now, but the question of whether it was legal and constitutional is an issue of public importance which needs to be addressed by the courts. Cases of serious importance where the government significantly impacts the rights and freedoms of Canadians to go about their normal lives should not be set aside on a technicality,” states Jorge Pineda, a lawyer for the Justice Centre.

As a hilarious example of the junk science lunacy of the climate cult, look no further than the corporate-controlled media which now claims that every country in the world is heating up faster than every other country in the world.

“The report finds the warming trend over the last three decades in all African subregions was stronger than in the previous 30 years. During this period, it said Africa has warmed faster than the global average temperature over land and ocean combined,” the article said. 

The year before that, it was China. 

“China Is Heating Up Faster Than The Global Average, Data Shows,” reported Bloomberg in 2020, saying it had been happening for decades. 

“China has seen faster temperature increases and rising sea levels than the global average rate over the past few decades, and experienced more frequent extreme weather events, according to official data,” said the article. 

But other outlets said it was Australia. 

“Australia is Warming Faster than Global Average,” reported Statista in 2020. 

A review by America’s Frontline News of Israeli media reports found that the expected heatwaves the media are using to push climate alarmism are actually cooler than last year’s. 

“The Health Ministry issued an extreme temperature warning as a heatwave intensified on Wednesday, with its peak expected on Thursday,” reported Times of Israel Wednesday.  

Gosh, global warming is so bad that it somehow makes every country hotter than all other countries, even if those countries are themselves hotter than all the rest of the countries. Circular logic. Total fraud. Welcome to the climate cult, where logic is never allowed.

NASA pretends that solar-powered helicopters can fly around on Mars where there’s virtually no atmosphere

So now, we’re supposed to believe that heavy lift, solar powered helicopters can fly without an atmosphere? This is just the latest lunacy from NASA, which went to extraordinary lengths to fake Apollo broadcasts, falsely claiming they were half-way to the moon and pretending to broadcast a video of Earth through the Apollo capsule window. Climate fakery: 96% of temperature stations are RIGGED to exaggerate temperatures

Climate “science,” of course, is rigged like everything else. There is no global warming crisis, carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and the so-called “greenhouse gas” effect from CO2 is complete fiction. It’s all made up.

As Breitbart.com reports today:

A study that investigated the placement of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) temperature stations found that 96 percent of the facilities used to measure heat failed to meet the agency’s own “uncorrupted placement” standards.

Research for the study shows the 96 percent corruption is because the stations’ measurements are tainted by the effects of urbanization – or heat produced because of their close proximity to asphalt, machinery, and other heat-producing, heat-trapping, or heat-accentuating objects.

In other words, the way the corrupt NOAA rigs “global warming” is to place temperature stations near hot roads and overheated urban areas, then scream, “It’s warming!”

The NOAA is a junk science laundering front for the trillion-dollar climate industry, and the entire industry is rooted in fraud and deception. This is becoming increasingly obvious to German citizens, by the way, who are suddenly realizing they will freeze this winter due to a lack of natural gas energy from Russia, since the suicidal leaders of western Europe decided to dismantle most fossil fuel resources and try to survive on solar and wind.

The gamble has been catastrophic. It’s not even cold yet, and several German cities are already turning off lights and hot showers to try to conserve energy use in anticipation of an energy collapse this winter, reports The Guardian:

Cities in Germany are switching off spotlights on public monuments, turning off fountains, and imposing cold showers on municipal swimming pools and sports halls, as the country races to reduce its energy consumption in the face of a looming Russian gas crisis.

What happened to all the green “science” that was supposed to save the world while getting people off fossil fuels? It turned out to be a complete scientific fraud pushed by bad faith politicians, obedient journalists and virtue signaling corporations.

Now, western Europe will face an economic implosion, widespread homelessness, joblessness, starvation and life threatening exposure to cold weather in the months ahead. This is all rooted in western “science,” don’t forget, which claims to have a monopoly on “facts” and wants to rule your life and tell you how much energy you’re allowed to consume.

Don’t forget you’ll also be required to eat crickets, drink recycled urine and diarrhea (already slated to be rolled out in Los Angeles) and “own nothing.”

Rocket man threatens to use nukes amid tensions with U.S., South Korea

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – 

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned he’s ready to use his nuclear weapons in potential military conflicts with the United States and South Korea, state media said Thursday, as he unleashed fiery rhetoric against rivals he says are pushing the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war.

Kim’s speech to war veterans on the 69th anniversary of the end of the 1950-53 Korean War was apparently meant to boost internal unity in the impoverished country amid pandemic-related economic difficulties. While Kim has increasingly threatened his rivals with nuclear weapons, it’s unlikely that he would use them first against the superior militaries of the U.S. and its allies, observers say.

“Our armed forces are completely prepared to respond to any crisis, and our country’s nuclear war deterrent is also ready to mobilize its absolute power dutifully, exactly and swiftly in accordance with its mission,” Kim said in Wednesday’s speech, according to the official Korean Central News Agency.

He accused the United States of “demonizing” North Korea to justify its hostile policies. Kim said regular U.S.-South Korea military drills that he claimed target the North highlight U.S. “double standards” and “gangster-like” aspects because it brands North Korea’s routine military activities — an apparent reference to its missile tests — as provocations or threats.

Kim also alleged the new South Korean government of President Yoon Suk Yeol is led by “confrontation maniacs” and “gangsters” who have gone further than previous South Korean conservative governments. Since taking office in May, the Yoon government has moved to strengthen Seoul’s military alliance with the United States and bolster its own capacity to neutralize North Korean nuclear threats including a preemptive strike capability.

“Talking about military action against our nation, which possesses absolute weapons that they fear the most, is preposterous and is very dangerous suicidal action,” Kim said. “Such a dangerous attempt will be immediately punished by our powerful strength and the Yoon Suk Yeol government and his military will be annihilated.”

South Korea expressed “deep regret” over Kim’s threat and said it maintains a readiness to cope with any provocation by North Korea in “a powerful, effective manner.”

In a statement read by spokesperson Kang In-sun, Yoon’s presidential national security office said South Korea will safeguard its national security and citizens’ safety based on a solid alliance with the United States. It urged North Korea to return to talks to take steps toward denuclearization.

Earlier Thursday, South Korea’s Defense Ministry repeated its earlier position that it’s been boosting its military capacity and joint defense posture with the United States to cope with escalating North Korean nuclear threats.

In April, Kim said North Korea could preemptively use nuclear weapons if threatened, saying they would “never be confined to the single mission of war deterrent.” Kim’s military has also test-launched nuclear-capable missiles that place both the U.S. mainland and South Korea within striking distance. U.S. and South Korean officials have repeatedly said in the past few months that North Korea is ready to conduct its first nuclear test in five years.

Kim is seeking greater public support as his country’s economy has been battered by pandemic-related border shutdowns, U.S.-led sanctions and his own mismanagement. In May, North Korea also admitted to its first COVID-19 outbreak, though the scale of illness and death is widely disputed in a country that lacks the modern medical capacity to handle it.

“Kim’s rhetoric inflates external threats to justify his militarily focused and economically struggling regime,” said Leif-Eric Easley, a professor at Ewha University in Seoul. “North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs are in violation of international law, but Kim tries to depict his destabilizing arms buildup as a righteous effort at self-defense.”

Experts say North Korea will likely intensify its threats against the U.S. and South Korea as the allies prepare to expand summertime exercises. In recent years, the South Korean and U.S. militaries have canceled or downsized some of their regular exercises due to concerns about COVID-19 and to support now-stalled U.S.-led diplomacy aimed at convincing North Korea to give up its nuclear program in return for economic and political benefits.

During Wednesday’s speech, Kim said his government recently set tasks to improve its military capability more speedily to respond to military pressure campaigns by its enemies, suggesting that he intends to go ahead with an expected nuclear test.

But Cheong Seong-Chang at the private Sejong Institute in South Korea said North Korea won’t likely conduct its nuclear test before China, its major ally and biggest aid benefactor, holds its Communist Party convention in the autumn. He said China worries that a North Korean nuclear test could give the United States a justification to boost its security partnerships with its allies that it could use to check Chinese influence in the region.

North Korea recently said it is moving to overcome the COVID-19 outbreak amid plummeting fever cases, but experts say it’s unclear if the country can lift its strict restrictions soon because it could face a viral resurgence later this year. During Wednesday’s event, Kim, veterans and others didn’t wear masks, state media photos showed. On Thursday, North Korea reported 11 fever cases, a huge drop from the peak of about 400,000 a day in May.

North Korea has rejected U.S. and South Korean offers for medical relief items. It has also said it won’t return to talks with the United States unless it first abandons its hostile polices on the North, in an apparent reference to U.S.-led sanctions and U.S.-South Korean military drills.

Implementing the Great Reset: Why is monkeypox only circulating in countries where Pfizer’s covid injection was distributed?

There is a pretty good chance that the so-called “monkeypox,” which this writer is choosing to refer to as pridepox since primarily LGBT males are contracting and spreading it, is just Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “vaccine”-induced shingles under a different name.

In an attempt to cover up the deadly long-term impact of Pfizer’s mRNA (messenger RNA) injection – and possibly the others as well – governments of the world are colluding with the media to categorize pridepox as a new plandemic when the reality is that it could simply be the inevitable outcome of mRNA shots.

Exposé News, which tends to probe more deeply into these types of issues than many other independent media sources, discovered that the only countries where pridepox is now said to be an issue are those that widely distributed Pfizer’s Chinese Virus injection (Related: Officials in the United Kingdom are already pushing to inject children with new “vaccines” for pridepox.

There is clearly a plan moving forward to make pridepox the next global plandemic, as demonstrated by World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’s eagerness to declare it a global “public health emergency.” And Exposé News and others are trying to get ahead of the narrative by offering up a different version of the story.

Russia, most of Africa, and all of Asia are seeing zero “cases” of pridepox, even as Western Europe, the United States, and Canada are supposedly seeing a massive surge of the disease.

How can this be if diseases are colorblind and race-blind? Could it be that we are not being told the truth about pridepox?

Various types of monkeypox have been circulating in parts of Africa for at least the past 50 years. Never once have they left the continent, but now, suddenly, we are supposed to believe that the disease magically escaped Africa and is now circulating throughout the West specifically, and right on the back of another global plandemic with similarly suspicious origins?

It turns out that a scientific study published back in 1988 found that it is virtually impossible to tell the difference between monkeypox and chickenpox. And the adult version of chickenpox is none other shingles, an adult form of the disease that is much worse than the children’s version.

“And like its other cousin, genital herpes, varicella may be silent for many years, hiding out inside nerve cells and can reactivate later, wreaking havoc in the form of the excruciating skin disorder, shingles, which is a blistering, burning skin rash,” Exposé News adds, tying it back to the abominable behavior of LGBT males who are actively contracting and spreading it.

“What you’re being told is ‘monkeypox’ is really COVID-19 vaccine-induced herpes infection, shingles, autoimmune blistering disease and other ailments brought on by a weakened immune system caused by COVID-19 vaccination.”

If this is all true ¬– and it certainly appears to be a strong possibility – then once again the world is being lied to by the “authorities.” The injections that were forced on people in the name of stopping “COVID” are now fueling a new outbreak of jab-induced shingles, which they are calling monkeypox. And the goal, apparently, is to finalize a new world order and great reset for the entire planet.

Swedish Cannibal Advocate floats eating human flesh as solution to global climate change: reports

A Swedish scientist speaking at Stockholm summit last week offered an unusual possible tactic in combating global climate change: eating human flesh.

Stockholm School of Economics professor and researcher Magnus Soderlund reportedly said he believes eating human meat, derived from dead bodies, might be able to help save the human race if only a world society were to “awaken the idea.”

Soderlund’s argument for human cannibalism was front and center during a panel talk called “Can you Imagine Eating Human Flesh?” at the Gastro Summit, reports The Epoch Times. “Conservative” taboos against cannibalism, he said, can change over time if peoples simply tried eating human flesh.

Privy Council ruling on T&T’s bail case could pose a challenge for Jamaica

The Jamaican government could face a challenge to any amendments to prohibit bail for accused persons, based on a Privy Council ruling today in a case from Trinidad and Tobago.

The UK-based Privy Council is the final appellate court for Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. 

The court agreed with T&T’s Court of Appeal that a 1994 Bail Act that imposed a general block on bail for persons accused of murder and certain other crimes was unconstitutional. 

“A blanket prohibition of bail infringes a number of the rights and freedoms…,” the judges wrote. 

They added: “A fundamental objection to a blanket prohibition of bail is that it treats all persons charged with murder indiscriminately and denies the possibility of bail, whatever the circumstances and however compelling the case for bail may be. As such it operates in an arbitrary and potentially unfair and unjust way.”

The appeal was brought by the T&T’s Attorney General, which sought to overturn a Court of Appeal ruling.

Section 5(1) of Trinidad’s Bail Act of 1994 prohibits bail for persons charged with murder and certain other offences. 

The Court of Appeal had ruled in February that the bail provision was not an existing law and that it was not reasonably justifiable under the Constitution. 

In dismissing the appeal, the Privy Council said it accepted that the Attorney General’s submission that the main public policy concerns behind the Bail Act were the reduction of the incidence of violent crime, minimising the risk to public safety posed by repeat offenders and a concern about courts being too willing to grant bail to people who committed further crimes.

In relation to the bail provision, there was also the need to ensure that they do not interfere with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice.

The Privy Council said those objectives “are sufficiently important to justify the limitation of a fundamental right and in particular the right to liberty”.

However, the Privy Council said the current provision against bail was too arbitrary.

“The variety of circumstances in which a murder charge can arise means that there may well be cases where none of the objectives of a prohibition of bail will be served. There is no risk of absconding; there is no risk of further offending; there is no risk of interfering with witnesses or of obstructing the course of justice. In such cases there is likely to be a very compelling case for bail, but the blanket prohibition means that bail will not be possible,” the judges said.

The judges said “preventing differential treatment in cases with different circumstances involves what has been described as a “standardless sweep”. 

The Privy Council said it gave careful consideration to the strong public interest in the objectives of the bail provision and the great weight to be given to the judgment of Parliament.

“Bearing in mind that less intrusive measures could have been used, the Board nevertheless considers that in all the circumstances of the present case the interest of the community as expressed through the will of Parliament is outweighed by the severe consequences of the imposition of a blanket prohibition of bail and that a fair balance has not been struck.’
