(LifeSiteNews) — Alberta’s new Premier Danielle Smith has vowed to investigate the Alberta Health Services (AHS) after revealing that the agency signed a deal with the World Economic Forum (WEF) – the globalist group behind the “Great Reset” agenda – in the “middle of the pandemic,” .
“I believe that Alberta Health Services is the source of a lot of the problems that we’ve had. They signed some kind of partnership with the World Economic Forum right in the middle of the pandemic,” said Smith while speaking to the Western Standard this past Friday.
“We’ve got to address that. Why in the world do we have anything to do with the World Economic Forum? That’s got to end,” added the premier.
Since becoming premier of Alberta two weeks ago, after winning the leadership race of the governing United Conservative Party (UCP), Smith has vowed to reorganize AHS, expressing her concern with the agency’s involvement in pushing COVID lockdowns and enforcing vaccine mandates, which resulted in thousands losing their jobs and no less than three Christian pastors being jailed.
Under now-former Premier Jason Kenney, AHS, which is the sole health agency in the province, was given billions of taxpayer dollars to increase hospital beds significantly, something that ultimately did not happen.
Further criticizing the AHS, Smith took aim at the agency’s “scientific committee that, quite frankly, didn’t look at the whole broad science” when making decisions during the COVID-19 so-called pandemic.
“I don’t want to have a scientific committee advising me that isn’t prepared to look at therapeutic options in the middle of a pandemic and throw out the pandemic planning plan,” stated Smith.
Before the onset of the coronavirus, the Alberta government along with AHS had a pandemic plan in place which did not recommend mass lockdowns nor COVID jab mandates.
